The main focus of the company is to offer new starter cultures that preserve and also improve the traditional manufacturing of Bulgarian yoghurt with home taste. Lactina is offering not only starter cultures for industrial manufacturing, but also ferments for home application. Some of the most interesting lactic acid bacteria of the company are isolated from Rila mountain- the region of “The seven Rila lakes” as well as those from Stara planina mountain chain. As other sources of isolation – our microbiologists have used naturally fermented dairy products with supreme quality- such are white brined cheese, yellow cheese, fermented cream and home yoghurts.

The probiotics are specially selected “good” bacteria, that recover the human health and improve the viability of the human organism by affecting positively the immune system, suppressing the putrefactive processes in the intestine and resotre the balanced gut microflora. The beneficial bacteria support the peristalsis and functions of the intestine by influencing quick recovery in cases of stomach related discomforts. The lactic acid microorganisms are improving the nutritional balance as souce of vital amino acids and natural vitamins.
